Hello! I am Lydia Ortiz.

I love what I do so much!!!

I am an illustrator, designer, and art director. I am currently the Lead Designer for picture books at Chronicle Books.

I was born and raised in the Philippines and migrated to the United States when I was 19. I’ve lived in Manila, New York, and San Francisco.

I share my creative studio with my photographer husband and crush, Patrick Rafanan, in the San Francisco East Bay, with our cats, Michael Cera and Maybe.
